Colorado Secretary of State Mike Coffman issued an official recommendation to the state legislature yesterday endorsing the use of paper ballots rather than electronic voting machines for the 2008 presidential election. Coffman's concerns about the fallibilities of electronic voting come shortly after the completion of the state's voting machine recertification process, which he carried out under a court mandate.[more]
