Almost all biofuels used today cause more greenhouse-gas emissions than conventional fuels if the full emissions costs of producing these "green" fuels are taken into account, two studies published Thursday have concluded.

The Issue With Alternative Fuels No One Talks About
In a way, it's so symbolic of Our Leaders' era: The manufacture of an "alternative fuel" vehicle does more harm than a conventional vehicle's but at least it uses less foreign fuel and is thus therefore good. And biofuels have the added advantage of transferring gobs of cash to Big Agro.
