Let's Get Paranoid: Rhetorical, Unanswerable Question of the Day

A lot of races were awfully close. Could it be an issue of e-voting machines being programmed (um, hacked, I mean) to mis-register, so to speak, so as to add GOP votes when cast for Dems -- and the hacking being predicated on a misestimate of anticipated Dem votes? What seemed to be enough of a hack to create a GOP majority still fell short? Could it be?
