It's the hypocrisy that's the issue, or rather the hypocrisy and its effect on gay rights (such as they are) policy. Barney Frank didn't turn homophobe when some bum of a lover ripped him off. Sim., the Republicans. Contrary to the Big Media BS artistes, the GOP is not a majority party in the sense that it ever really had the majority of people supporting it. With the aid of bullying and a ass-kissing Big Media -- and I guess hacked e-voting --, it has been able to get a very slim (but sufficient) electoral majority.
