This says so much, it's not an image, it's an entire story.
Actually, what the story is the New York City metropolitan area commuter trains have had too many accidents with people's legs going into the gap between train and platform edge (included among the victims was a state legislator). So I suppose we commuters are to analyze this image and be ready to leap from train to platofrm (or vice versa); you know, just stepping may put at risk.
And now that we've been warned with thi snazzy graphic, the responsibility for those 10 inch gaps is no longer the state agency's but its customers. (In the corporatist state, the customer is never right.)
